COURSE POLICIES

Mandeep Yoga Teacher Training is an intensive course condensing the equivalent in time

and study of a one-year professional certificate program into only four weeks. The next

month will require your utmost dedication in time, intent, and effort to fully realize your

potential as a Certified Mandeep Method Instructor, demanding total immersion in

Mandeep Yoga through every waking breath. We, the staff and faculty of Mandeep Hot

Yoga, are confident that each of you, as future instructors, will adhere to Mandeep’s policies

and wilfully aid us in helping you become outstanding Yoga Teachers. In order to ensure

your success in meeting the minimum requirements for certification, the following outline

will present a clear statement of your responsibilities as a Teacher-in-Training. We thank

you in advance for your respectful compliance.

Attendance in all organized facets of training, including classes, discussions, lectures and

posture clinics is mandatory. If a situation arises that prevents you from maintaining

physical presence, you may be excused in advance with permission from Mandeep.

Attendance is crucial to your success, so not meeting these requirements will seriously

jeopardize your potential for certification. When confronting the unforeseeable and

unavoidable, just talk to Mandeep – we’ll work it out together.

Please be punctual for all aspects of training, as lateness will be regarded as an absence.

Attendance alone is insufficient- you must compel yourself to continuously and consistently

demonstrate your desire to teach through active participation in Teacher Training. Please

avoid distractions such as eating, sleeping, lying down (unless injured or in asana), and

needlessly conversing during classes, lectures, discussions, and posture clinics to maintain

respect for your teachers and fellow students. Each student is required to sign in and out during designated times each day. As a true

a friend is someone who will never ask you to lie for them, please continue on the path of

truth and refrain from signing in for others.

Assigned work for all classes and lectures must be completed to the instructor’s approval on

your own time. For all classes in which examinations are administered, a minimum score of

70 percent is necessary to pass.

You must successfully demonstrate your proficiency in dialogue delivery for all twenty-six

postures and two breathing exercises to Mandeep’s satisfaction to be considered

for graduation. Each student will be assigned to a group to allow for active rotation in posture clinic. You

are required to remain within your group throughout the entire training.

Tobacco, drug, or alcohol use is prohibited and will lead to immediate dismissal.

Please help us maintain a peaceful, respectful, and professional environment at all times.
